Provide in-depth tier 2 and 3 help desk support to ensure rapid resolution of user and enterprise problem tickets and change requests, investigating issues, confirming problems, evaluating constraints, and coordinating solutions. Maintain responsibility for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing rack mounted servers and hardware, including Windows Server 2008R2, Hyper-V, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) 2008R2, and Internet Information Services (IIS). Provide Ethernet configuration and basic network and route troubleshooting and maintain connectivity with a suite of specialized application and database servers. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct system errors through debug and system logs and maintain server patching and system hardening measures in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Army (DA) standards. Analyze systems procedures, update server documentation, and mentor junior staff. Perform systems monitoring and integration, minor scripting, configuration management, and applications testing.

Qualifications:
-2 years of experience in a professional work environment
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree
-CompTIA Security CE, MCITP, or Server Administrator 2008 R2 Certification

-Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5, Windows Server 2008R2, DNS, Active Directory, HyperV, and MS SQL 2008R2
-Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BS degree preferred
-MCITP, including SQL 2008R2 DBA, Redhat Enterprise Linux Administrator, or CompTIA Linux Certification
