Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Description SAIC is currently seeking multiple Systems Engineer supporting the Army's Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) to support our efforts in Fort Riley, KS
Job Description:
o Provide technical support to Battle Command Common Services (BCCS) Servers, and Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI) servers.
o Provide systems engineering, integration, and training to soldiers to improve working knowledge of systems such as MCIS, Enterprise Services and Tactical Command Systems to include capabilities, applications, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and operation in a network topology.
o Provide classroom and tactical training using systems such as Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Joint Capability Release (JCR), Joint Battle Command Post - Platform (JBC-P), Global Command and Control System Army (GCCS-A), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS), Airs Missile Defense Station (AMDWS), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Air Defense Integrator System (ADSI), and new systems as fielded.
o Possess operational and technical experience, knowledge of current operations, and a proven history of systems knowledge.
o Provide technical solutions for sustainment of the simulated environment as well to analyze and troubleshoot real world situations that affect the MCIS system communication and performance across tactical LAN/WAN operationsQualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION:
o BS degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of additional experience/military service accepted in lieu of degree REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Knowledge and Experience on MS Windows Servers (2012, 2019), VMware VSphere Hypervisor, VMware, vCenter, Cisco Unified Call Manager and Linux Command Line.
o Extensive experience in Mission Command Information Systemso Prior US Army experience in recent contingency operations REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
o Active DoD Secret Clearanceo Must be a US Citizen REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
o Security +, CompTIA A+/Network +, MCSAo 8570.
