Provide and support data and communications links to live, virtual, constructive, and gaming training environments including: networks; communications; C4I; and simulations architectures. Communications support may also require links to joint and interagency players; install, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot communications, and training exercises using the ERF suite at all ARNG MTCs. Assist the Government with IT accreditation at their supported MTCs. Maintain exercise networks at an Operational Readiness availability rate of 99% during training exercises. Operational Readiness rates include scheduled downtime, SW upgrades, and network problems.
Maintain systems in accordance with Army Supply Procedures and as required by the MTC-Commander. Conduct inventory and accountability program that tracks equipment both on-site and while in the field as well as an approved GFP lifecycle refreshment, replacement and equipment usage. Incorporate the use of low overhead drivers resulting from evolving systems augmenting JLCCTC as they are developed and fielded to the ARNG. Assist units in receiving MTC distributed simulations. Develop simulation supported training scenarios for individual and staff collective training that meet unit commander's training objectives. Maintain updated the available standard training scenarios to ensure they are relevant with commander's needs in support of individual and collective training.
Provide routine, non-warranty maintenance support on hardware systems, networks, and SW products. Maintain exercise networks at an Operational Readiness availability rate of 99% during training exercises. Operational Readiness rates include scheduled downtime, SW upgrades, and network problems. Establish and maintain training/exercise networks for both local and wide area networks.
Certified at appropriate level for ERF system operations. Certifications for A+, Security+, and Network+ issued before 1 Jan 2011 are for life.
Network Support Team Lead Systems Engineer: Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or CISSP or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Network Support Team Network Engineer: MCITP or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and CISSP or Security+ or VMWare VCP or Citrix Certified Administrator
Network/System Administrator Server+, Security+ o Warsim Intelligence Model (WIM) System Admin: Security+
Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) Tech - Database Administrator: Server+, Security+ o JCATS Tech - Systems Engineer: Server+, Security+

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
